Welcome Back, Me!

I can't believe I started this blog four years ago?! I sorely neglect it. So today I decided that I need to feed this beast. I enjoy reading the blogs of others. I always learn more than I think I will. I hope that my blogs proves to have some relevance towards anything, or anyone. I enjoy writing when I write about other things and other people. When It comes to myself, I often get stuck. My dear friend Mary Afuso writes a very funny and very touching blog called "The Gift of Fat." She chronicles her day to day, and her quest towards a fitter Mary by sharing her exercise experiences. We have the same physical trainer, so I enjoy her blog because I identify with her humorous workout stories. My other friend Holly Hoffman has a blog called "WorkLoveLife." She write all sorts of things. I love this blog because she shares so intimately her thoughts and aspirations and ambitions with the world so freely and bravely. When I was in my 20's, I always felt like nobody wanted to listen to what I had to say. I wish I would have learned time ago that you never know if your writing will be any good unless you write write for the public. Holly seems to have learned this lesson a lot earlier than I did. From her blog posts, blogging seems to be a process for her that is very therapeutic, healing and inspiring. I also read "Beth's New, Improved Austin Bloggery." She has been slacking lately (I can say that to her and about her, don't worry...), but her blog is an award-winning, fun record of her adventures in one of the nicest places in Texas. She has a keen eye and very unique point of view. I love her. So, hopefully I will be able to share myself so freely and happily as my blog mentors have done. I'm not sure if I can, but I will certainly try.
